The Story Behind the Turkish Sumak Kilim

The weaving technique is flat and the colors are dyed with natural dyes. These kilims are made in Sumak, Turkey, which is located in the Nurdagi district of Kastamonu. They are made by local Turkmen tribes, without any use of machines.
