The Story Behind Greige

Greige takes the diamond lattice of Berber weaving from Morocco's Atlas mountains and draws it as chains of river pebbles, stacked between two ladders. Hand knotted in soft wool with a plush pile, it brings that mountain pattern down to the size of a doorway.

Construction: Hand Knotted
Every knot tied by hand on a loom, then cut to make the pile.
Density: 50–80 knots per square inch
